How to Use MNBid.com Welcome to MNBid.com! This page gives you an overview of what's on the site and how to get started buying and selling. Just Browsing If it's your first time on MNBid.com, you can feel free to browse around the site and look at the many thousands of items our users and merchants have listed for sale. However, please know that you must register with us in order to bid on an item (or buy it in the case of items that are For Sale). You must also register in order to sell items on our site. For each item listed on the site, you'll see a description of the item, the Start At price (that was the starting bid), the Bid At price (what the price is currently), and when the auction closes. Once you register, you are free to bid or buy that item-it's THAT simple! Register First! If you wish to purchase an item listed on the site-or sell one yourself, you must first register with MNBid.com. Of course, if you want to buy items, all you have to do is register and go find stuff…and have fun. Bidding OK, now you're ready to join the fun. Go back to that item that sparked your interest, and place your bid. You have two choices here: First enter your username and password. Then click on the preview bid. It will bid the price in the box that is labeled bid. Your second choice is to enter the maximum price that you want to pay for the item. Auto-bid will automatically meet the reserve price if your bid is high enough and will keep bidding for you if someone bids higher that you. You will receive an email when the bidding has reached your maximum price. Remember that when placing a bid it may not include shipping or taxes if applicable. Selling Listing an item for auction is simple. Click on the Sellers button at the top of any page on MNBid.com. Then you follow the easy-to-understand instructions for listing an item. After you input all the data, you will be given a chance to review that data, and then you are on your way!
